Eighteen years of shipping, the last two with agents.
The timeline below is the long version. The short one: I have built and led product engineering since 2008, ran a marketplace as CTO for six years, and since 2025 have worked almost entirely through coding agents.
A browser-based environment for supervising coding agents that run on a developer’s own computer or rented server. A Go CLI executes each agent loop beside its code; an Elixir server provides remote access and organizes work by project and task.
All of its code has been produced by agents, with almost all development carried out through Grindhouse itself.
Worked in a small team with shared ownership of an agent platform for revenue teams. My work covered the core agent loop, context, integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft, Gong, Slack, Gmail and calendars, billing for units of agent work, briefs, and post-call automation.
February 2024—Now · Technical Lead / Senior Developer
Returned to the marketplace after an ownership change and helped bring it back into active development. Shipped item identification and listing generation from photos, virtual try-on, shipping within the sale flow, payments work, and a move to Google Cloud.
Active development ended in early 2026; I continue to help with maintenance.
March 2023—February 2024 · Contractor
META IT
Helped replace a legacy .NET production-control desktop application with React and Electron. I mainly worked on integrations with scanners, printers, scales, laboratory equipment, and SCADA APIs.
Built the in-house development team and worked on the marketplace architecture, infrastructure, APIs, payments, deployment, internal administration, and GDPR-related technical changes.
2008—2017
Earlier work
Co-founded and led a mobile application company building apps, games, and backend services. I also worked as a contractor within larger teams on systems for government, finance, logistics, and other commercial organisations.
Most of that work used C#/.NET, PHP, JavaScript, Java, Swift, Xamarin, and SQL.
